RECOVER & RECLAIM // body, food, exercise

BRG is here to support you in healing your relationship to your body, food, and/or exercise by:

  • providing free peer support and safe healing spaces,

  • fostering community across the entire spectrum of body recovery,

  • and challenging the systems we live in that actively cause such dysfunction with the body and oppose its healing.

You deserve support that meets your needs. You are always the most important person in any discussion of your life. You are in charge of your recovery, you are the expert on your health, you are the authority on what you need and what you've been through and what obstacles or oppression life and society put on you.

You have the ultimate sovereignty over your body.

This photography is from the "Holy Ground" collection by Janette Casolary. A horizontal black and white photo. Regan, a white chubby woman with long dark hair, sits cross-legged on a dark rug in the foreground, naked, looking down at her body, one hand holding one ankle, the other across her chest holding her opposite arm. There is a white bed behind her, with plants to one side. It is a tender and calm moment, and Regan’s complete inner and outer focus is on her body.
